May is travel agent appreciation month and tour operators, cruise lines, and accommodation companies are saying thank you with a variety of incentives, bonus commissions, and other rewards.

In alphabetical order, here are some of the offers out there.

Atlas Ocean Voyages: Bonus Commission
Throughout the month of May, travel advisors can earn a $500 bonus for any new deposited booking on World Navigator made in May for voyages between June 2022 and November 2022. To claim the bonus, you must mention the word “appreciation” at the time of booking.

Carnival Cruise Line: Personal Travel Discount
Through the end of May, Carnival is offering travel advisors the chance to book a personal cruise vacation for departures through September 30, 2022 for a reduced price. All U.S.- and Europe-based ships are included in the promotion. To book your personal vacation, use fare code “PFA” on GoCCL.com. This offer cannot be shared with non-travel advisors.

Collette: Booking Incentive
During the month of May travel advisors can earn a $50 “Travel Advisor Appreciation Booking Incentive” by securing two or more new bookings for travel in 2022. The top three advisors who secure the most bookings in May will also earn more: $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place. These incentives will be calculated and paid within 30 days after the booking period for the incentive ends. (A booking is defined as a minimum of two full-paying passengers in a double room or a single passenger in a single room. Qualified bookings must be active and under deposit at time of calculation and all payments are payable per agent.)

Hurtigruten Expeditions: Galapagos Incentive
Any travel advisor booking three of Hurtigruten’s nine-day Galapagos adventures this year for travel in 2022 will receive a free trip on the same itinerary to use for themselves for travel on any departure through March 31, 2023. (Full details at agentportal.hurtigruten.com).

Lindblad Expeditions: Raffle Entries
For each new Lindblad Expeditions booking confirmed during the month of May, travel advisors will receive an entry into a drawing to win one of three prizes. The grand prize is a trip for two in a category SU suite to Galapagos on any 2022/23 “Wild Galapagos Escape” sailing onboard National Geographic II. Advisors can receive a bonus entry for registering for Expedition 360°, the company’s online Travel Advisor training program. The first prize winner will receive a $500 gift card and the second prize winner will receive a $250 gift card.

Riviera River Cruises: Gift Cards, Drink Packages
Between May 2 and May 6, Riviera River Cruises is offering incentives that include gift cards for travel advisors and drink packages for their clients. The incentive is available for a booking in any cabin or suite, including cabins with no single supplements and cabins on solo traveler departures. Only group bookings are excluded. The drinks package for clients offers a selection of beverages served during lunch and dinner in the main and stern restaurants.

Silversea Cruises: Bonus Commission, Reduced Cruise Rate
Throughout May, travel advisors can earn a $200 USD ($250 CAD) bonus commission per booking on any 2022 voyage. Bookings must be made in May for travel in 2022. Virgin Voyages: Weekly Giveaways
