With an eye to the future Travel Planners International (TPI) has created a new role within its organization: Director of Innovation.

In the new role, 10-year TPI veteran Elisabeth McGuire will help drive strategic initiatives by harnessing the power of AI and integrating innovative practices into TPI’s operations.

Simultaneously, Jennifer Freeman has been promoted to Marketing Manager, taking over from McGuire.

“We are excited to announce these well-deserved promotions,” Erwing Hernandez, senior vice president at TPI, said. “Elisabeth and Jennifer have consistently demonstrated incredible skills, and their new roles will enable them to innovate and lead their respective teams to new heights. This move strengthens our leadership team and positions us for continued success.”

“As the new appointed Director of Innovation for TPI, I am excited to embrace the Day 1 Mentality, driving continuous improvement and leveraging cutting-edge solutions to transform the travel industry,” said McGuire. “Our commitment to innovation ensures that TPI stays ahead of the curve, empowering our travel advisors and partners to deliver exceptional experiences in an ever-evolving world.”

Freeman, who has been acting as interim marketing manager for the past six months, will oversee both the education and marketing teams at TPI.
