Universal Orlando Opens Fifth On-Site Hotel

The Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort opened Thursday at Universal Orlando. It is the park’s fifth on-site hotel.
The Caribbean-themed resort features 1,000 rooms, the Amatista Cookhouse restaurant and the Strong Water Tavern lounge, which serves 75 kinds of rum. The property is also home to the largest pool at any of the five resorts, at 16,000 square feet, complete with a water slide and a sand beach.
Rooms rates will start between $119-$176 per night.
