Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s highly anticipated new theme park, will open on May 22, 2025.

Bookings, for packages only, open on VAX Vacation Access on Oct. 22. Currently, the packages only include one-day passes to Epic Universe. Stays at the brand-new Universal Helios Grand Hotel will also open reservations on that day for stays beginning May 22, 2025.

“This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year,” said Karen Irwin, president and COO of Universal Orlando Resort. “With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic.”

The packages available include multi-day admission to the existing parks and single-day admission to Epic Universe. Travel advisors and their clients can choose from several packages that are detailed on Universal’s VAX Vacation Access page.

More booking options, such as multi-day tickets and general public tickets, will be available at a later date.

Universal Orlando is calling Epic Universe its most immersive and innovative theme park to date. It will feature more than 50 experiences, from attractions to themed dining to entertainment, and comprise the following five “universes”:

Celestial Park

Dark Universe

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Next year, Universal will also bring its hotel count up to eleven with the openings of Universal Stella Nova Resort on Jan. 21, 2025; Universal Terra Luna Resort on Feb. 25, 2025; and the Universal Helios Grand Resort on May 22, 2025.
