Virtuoso’s Advisor Recruitment Program Expands to Canada

Luxury travel specialist Virtuoso is bringing its Advisor Recruitment Program to Canada.

Last year, Virtuoso launched its Advisor Recruitment Program to address the industry’s advisor shortage. The initiative matches qualified applicants with agencies looking to hire. So far, more than 80 advisors have been placed in Virtuoso member agencies.

Initially, Virtuoso’s Advisor Recruitment Program was limited to the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Now, Canadian agencies can participate as well.

“After survey results indicated over half of our Canadian member agencies are prioritising building their teams this year, we’re delighted to offer them the Advisor Recruitment Program,” said Virtuoso Senior Vice President of Global Member and Partner Sales Cory Hagopian.

Advisors at every stage of their career are invited to apply. Virtuoso uses proprietary database technology to match agencies with suitable candidates, based on information such as agency needs, specialization, location, and current job openings.

To participate in the program, agencies must have training available for the new hires, or commit to putting them through Virtuoso’s in-house training academy.

“The response and outcome in the United States, Australia and New Zealand has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Hagopian. “With over 20 advisor applications in Canada thus far, we’re confident the program will help our members in the region find and connect with high-quality talent.”
