With interest in domestic travel on the rise, tour operator Kensington is meeting demand for North American vacations with new packages in the U.S. and Canada.

The luxury specialist has expanded its North America portfolio with new private guided itineraries across Eastern Canada and the Northeastern United States, spanning both its tours and cruise divisions.

The new collection features destinations such as Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, and Newfoundland, along with key U.S. cities including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and the coastal towns of New England.

One of the new itineraries includes an expedition cruise on the National Geographic Explorer. This is a space the tour operator has been expanding in recently: just last month, the company launched Kensington Expeditions, a new travel style that blends luxury with exploration.

In addition to the new tours and cruises, Kensington has expanded its portfolio of customized shore excursions to more than 265 ports worldwide, adding new options across the Northeastern U.S. and Canadian coastlines. The latest offerings include stops in Portland, Rockland, and Bar Harbor (Maine); Boston; Newport; New York City; Norfolk, Virginia; and Quebec and Montreal.

“With the growth we’ve seen in North American travel, this expansion responds directly to the requests of clients and advisors,” said Joelle Davis, vice president of Kensington Cruises. “The itineraries add more depth to our regional offerings and provide travelers with new options close to home.”

Kensington’s New North America Tours & Cruises

The new Kensington itineraries include:

  • The 10-day Family Road Trip to Eastern Canada, which features cycling and rafting along Ottawa’s riverside trails, a self-drive through Quebec with wildlife and culinary stops, a private tour of Old Montreal, and guided hikes through glacial valleys near Quebec City.
  • The seven-day Montreal & Quebec City Discovery: an itinerary offering a similar mix of adventure and culture, combining guided outdoor experiences with immersive city tours.
  • The five-day Toronto World Cup Experience, designed around exclusive, VIP access to tournament games with private stadium transfers. The elevated experience is complemented with culinary and culture-based activities, such as a Prohibition-themed walking tour of the Distillery District, a private helicopter flight over Lake Ontario, and fine dining across the city.
  • The 10-day 250th U.S. Anniversary Tour that traces America’s Revolutionary history through Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C., with visits to landmarks like the Freedom Trail, Ellis Island, and Arlington National Cemetery.
  • 15-day Canada to New England in the Autumn cruise: beginning and ending in Boston, this itinerary includes an 11-night Celebrity Cruises sailing along the region’s picturesque coastline. Guests explore New England’s and Quebec’s historic charm, with curated onshore experiences and a private guided tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail.
  • The 13-day Canadian Maritimes & Newfoundland Expedition Cruise, which offers a more immersive adventure aboard the National Geographic Explorer, combining coastal exploration with local traditions such as Newfoundland’s lively Screech-In ceremony. Travelers will enjoy a guided walk in Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit L’Anse aux Meadows, the archaeological site of an 11th-century Viking settlement.
