Virtuoso today (Nov. 3) announced the appointment of industry veteran Alyssa Bushey as senior vice president, global marketing.
Bushey has built her 25-year career driving innovation in the luxury, hospitality, and entertainment industries through communications, branding, and marketing.
Since 2019, she’s served as the founder and CEO of marketing consultancy Edison 360, working with clients such as Forbes Travel Guide, Hyatt Residential and Travel + Leisure Co. Previously, she served as chief marketing officer at Margaritaville (2018 to 2020), and held other senior-level marketing and communications roles with companies such as Baha Mar, Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and Montage International.
In her new role with Virtuoso, Bushey will lead brand expansion efforts, including product marketing, content strategy, performance data, and paid media. She will also manage Virtuoso’s editorial team responsible for Virtuoso, The Magazine, which is now distributed in six countries.
Reporting directly to Chief Operating Officer Brad Bourland, she will oversee a team spanning the nine regions from where Virtuoso operates.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Alyssa to Virtuoso,” said Bourland. “She brings an incredible depth of experience and creativity that will build on the tremendous work Helen and her team have accomplished over the last five years. We’re excited to see where Alyssa’s leadership will take the division as we continue to elevate Virtuoso’s global marketing product and brand presence.”
Bushey succeeds Helen McCabe-Young, whom Virtuoso promoted to senior vice president of global products in August.
