Brendan Vacations has announced the addition of new celtic experiences to its 2027 portfolio, including two new small group tours and four sample Custom Vacations itineraries.
Brendan Vacations is a tour operator that specializes in Celtic travel experiences. The company, which is part of the TTC Tour Brands family, has been offering travel services for Ireland and Scotland experiences for nearly 60 years, focusing on group tours and custom itineraries, ranging from budget-friendly self-drive tours to luxury, private-driver packages. In Fall 2025, Brendan Vacations added small group tours to its range of travel styles.
The Celtic specialist has unveiled two new small group tours for 2027: “Extraordinary Ireland” and “Scotland at Leisure.” These tours have a maximum of 18 guests and guaranteed departures. “Extraordinary Ireland” is a 12-day tour that features the destination’s iconiclandscapes, such as the Cliffs of Moher and Ring of Kerry, while “Scotland at Leisure” is an eight-day tour that explores the region’s Highland landscapes and rich history.
The Small Group Tour collection for 2027 also includes existing itineraries, such as “Timeless Ireland & Ashford Castle,” “Ireland at Leisure,” and “Wild Scotland & Isle of Skye.” Some itineraries (April through October, with select winter departures) can be booked back-to-back, allowing travelers to combine Ireland and Scotland into one vacation.
On the Custom Vacations side, Brendan Vacations has unveiled four sample itineraries for 2027: two private driver itineraries and two rail vacations. Each of these can be customized to the traveler, including pace, schedule, and interests.
“Ireland Wellness Adventure” is an eight-day private driver trip focusing on rejuvenating experiences, such as yoga sessions, hiking, and spa experiences, while “Scotland’s Lochs & Whiskey” is a 10-day journey that combines the region’s whiskey heritage and an Isle of Rona Cruise.
On the rail side, Brendan Vacations has added the 10-day “Ireland’s Cities, Coasts & Legends” and the nine-day “Scotland’s Castles, Coastlines & Cities.”
Brendan Vacations has also added new bookable activities for 2027, including: the Bask Thermal Spa in Dublin’s Davenport Hotel; the Cushendale Woollen Mills, one of Ireland’s last working woollen mills; and a Dunnottar Castle, Braemar and Royal Deeside experience. The tour operator has also added new accommodation options, including five-star options like W Edinburgh, Glenapp Castle, and The Grace.
“Nearly 60 years in Ireland and Scotland have given us an incredible depth of experience, from the people and places we know to the relationships we’ve built,” said Whitney Ramirez, senior vice president of sales, Brendan Vacations North America. “In 2027, we’re putting that expertise to work for travel advisors through more intimate Small Group Tours and new itinerary inspiration for Private Driver and Rail Vacations, giving them even more ways to create meaningful, personalized Celtic vacations for their clients.”
