Classic Vacations has announced the appointment of Dimitri André as regional director, east.

Born and raised in Haiti, André cultivated a love of travel at an early age. He moved to the U.S. at 18 to pursue an education, and subsequently landed a role as a French-speaking reservation specialist with a FIT B2B provider, launching his travel industry career.

Over the last 15+ years, André has developed sales and leadership skills without the travel sector, having worked with companies such as Hotelbeds and GTA Americas. Most recently, he served as sales director – North America for Bedsonline.

In a statement, the tour operator welcomed André to the company, stating he “brings a global perspective, extensive industry experience, and a passion for creating meaningful connections to the Classic Sales team.”

André expressed his gratitude to Classic Vacations in a Facebook post:

“This new chapter in my career is a culmination of the opportunities, relationships, and experiences that have shaped my journey thus far. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my previous team and leadership for their unwavering support throughout the years. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I am truly thankful for everything I’ve learned along the way.”
