Goway is the latest tour operator to embrace the solo women travel trend.
From Riviera Travel’s dedicated solo river cruises to Solos entering the U.S. tour operator marketplace, the last year has seen a marked increase in the travel industry embracing solo travelers. TMR has spoken with several leaders in the segment who argue that women are driving the solo travel trend.
Announced earlier this month, tailor-made specialist Goway has created several tours for this niche, unveiling a new product line dedicated to women-only solo travel.
“More women are choosing to embrace their individuality and embark on their own adventures around the world,” said Linda Warner, director of product at Goway. “Our new Solo Women Travel packages cater to this mindset, empowering women to explore further and go deeper in destinations near and far.”
The new line is launching with five itineraries exploring Dubai, Egypt, India, Jordan, and Thailand. Each trip features single-rate pricing, a strong emphasis on safety, and experiences curated specifically around women’s interests, such as visiting women-owned businesses and intimate, home-hosted dinners.
Each trip was designed for women traveling independently, but would also suit women traveling with female friends, family members, or same-sex partners.
“We know that women are driven to explore on their own to not only learn about other cultures and bond with other women, but also to learn more about themselves, so these trips give them the freedom and peace of mind to truly engage with the world on their own terms,” added Warner.
