Hotel Husafell Adds West Iceland Hiking Itineraries

Starting Aug. 1, the four-star Hotel Husafell introduces Hidden Hiking Trails and Luxury Adventures in West Iceland, a 90-minute drive from the capital of Reykjavik.

The new luxury adventure package includes a two-night stay in a deluxe room, two excursions: Into the Glacier Experience and Vidgelmir Lava Cave (the largest in Iceland) Explorer, self-guided hiking tours along 10 new marked trails, access to thermal spa, mountain bikes and golf course, wi-fi, parking and daily breakfast.

Steps away from the Langjokull Glacier, the resort-style property features 48 design-centric guestrooms, gourmet restaurant with glacier views, thermal spa, golf course and marked nature trails.

Hiking is a year-round activity in Husafell, which has 25,000 acres of pure Nature Reserve. The new hiking routes offer various levels of difficulty.
