St. Regis Opens First Canadian Hotel as New Toronto Location Debuts

Canada’s first St. Regis hotel opened on Thursday in Toronto. Formerly the Trump International Hotel and Tower, the building stands at 65 stories tall in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The five-star hotel offers 258 guest rooms, including 124 luxury suites boasting an in-room bar and kitchenette. The decor by DesignAgency and Chapi Chapo Design is modern, clean and elegant. Guests are looked after by the brand’s hallmark butler service 24/7.

At the 31st-floor bar and restaurant, LOUIX LOUIS, guests are served contemporary American cuisine with French technique, helmed by Executive Chef Guillaume Robin. The two-story, grand bar offers an extensive spirits list; and it has a second-level loft space available for private bookings, as well as an outdoor secret garden overlooking Toronto’s skyline and Lake Ontario.

A café counter and living-room-style space is located at the hotel lobby. Astor Lounge serves
afternoon tea on weekends; and each evening at 5:00 pm, seated guests can enjoy the St. Regis ritual of champagne sabering.

With 12,000 square feet of event space, the property’s 30th-floor meeting rooms can be custom-tailored, with St. Regis and Astor Ballrooms connecting via a grand staircase on the 9th and 10th floors.

Sitting on the 31st and 32nd floors, the Spa at The St. Regis Toronto includes an infinity-edge saltwater lap pool with panoramic views of the Toronto skyline; and a state-of-the-art fitness center on the 32nd floor featuring a movement studio for yoga and Pilates.
