Travel Answers Partners with Great Journeys New Zealand to Offer Rail-Led Tours

Tour operator Travel Answers (has officially partnered with Great Journeys New Zealand (GJNZ), the tourism division of KiwiRail, to integrate the rail operator’s small-group guided tours into its South Pacific portfolio.

The new product line connects travelers across the North and South Islands using New Zealand’s flagship scenic rail route: TranzAlpine from Christchurch to Greymouth; Northern Explorer from Auckland to Wellington; and Coastal Pacific from Picton to Christchurch.

Designed as fully escorted itineraries, the tours bundle regional hotel stays, local sightseeing, transit, and curated experiences, highlighting lesser-known regional stops alongside iconic destinations.

For travel advisors, the partnership comes backed by a trade engagement campaign featuring dedicated Destination Specialist training, advisor incentives, digital marketing assets, and customized sales tools.
