Universal Orlando Rolls Out Mobile Food Ordering Service

by Jessica Montevago  October 31, 2018
Universal Orlando Rolls Out Mobile Food Ordering Service

Universal Orlando Resort has launched Mobile Express Pick Up, a new in-park food ordering service. It allows guests to place and purchase food and drink orders from their mobile device via the Universal Orlando Resort app.

The new feature helps guests save time and order food wherever they may be in the park, including when waiting on line for an attraction, Universal said. Meals will only be made after guests tap “Prepare My Order,” giving them time to continue on rides.

Mobile Express Pick Up is now available at select dining locations in Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, including Mel’s Drive-In, Richter’s Burger Co., and The Burger Digs.

During the initial launch of Mobile Express Pick Up, parkgoers using discounts – including Passholder discounts – gift cards or the Universal Dining Plan will need to order with a cashier and forgo mobile ordering.
