Bruce Shulman Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Bruce Shulman received the Lifetime Achievement award at Travel Weekly’s 17th annual Reader’s Choice Awards.
Bruce Shulman, senior vice president and group publisher for Travel Weekly and TravelAge West, received the Lifetime Achievement award last night during Travel Weekly’s 17th annual Reader’s Choice Awards.
He was honored during a black-tie gala dinner at the Conrad New York on Thursday for his longstanding service to the travel industry. Shulman He has been in sales and publishing roles at Northstar since 2000, having moved to Travel Weekly 15 years ago from Northstar’s Hotel & Travel Index. Prior to his time in media sales, Shulman had a successful career in hospitality management.
Shulman retired from his position in October. Taking his place as leader of the commercial side of the Retail Group will be Anthony Carnevale, currently Publisher of the BTN Group, and Jay Nelson to VP of business development/strategic accounts.
