Allianz Launches Revamped TravelSmart App Called Allyz
by Daniel McCarthy /Allianz Partners USA this week unveiled its revamped user app called Allyz TravelSmart, which takes over from its previous TravelSmart app.
The Allyz app is free to download and use and sports some major upgrades over the previous version. Aside from holding all the policy information for its users, the app also allows to make a claim, access their destination’s emergency numbers, an embassy finder, medical dictionary, and more.
There’s also a hospital finder built into the app that directs users to hospitals that Allianz has vetted in their destination and alerts them which hospitals have direct billing available. There’s also a FAQ section where users can get advice for issues when traveling or when trying to process a claim.
“Designed to be an essential companion to our industry-leading travel and event ticket protection products, the app offers a robust suite of digital solutions so travelers can have an even more enjoyable trip. The app serves as a hub that puts insurance benefits, assistance services, safety features and more at customers’ fingertips whenever and wherever they need them,” Begench Atayev, Head of Product Management and Innovation at Allianz Partners USA said.
The app will automatically update for all users of the previous TravelSmart app, so no need to download a new one. It’s available for download in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
