Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Program) is expanding its popular rewards program to Canada and Mexico.

The Expedia TAAP Rewards Program offers travel advisors points for booking on the web-based platform. These points can be redeemed for gift cards from major retailers like Amazon, Tim Hortons, and Starbucks. Since the new travel advisor rewards program launched in the U.S. in 2022, over 38,000 people have signed up, collectively redeeming approximately 13,000 points.

“We are excited to expand the highly successful TAAP Rewards program to Canada and Mexico,” said Phoebe Bush, Expedia TAAP’s director of travel agent distribution – Americas. “This initiative allows us to recognize the valuable services travel advisors provide while offering them additional rewards for their dedication.”

Travel advisors in Canada and Mexico have been using the Expedia TAAP platform for years. The expansion of the Rewards Programs aims to strengthen Expedia TAAP’s commitment to advisors in these regions, Expedia said in a release.

Advisors will earn one reward point for each Canadian dollar or Mexican peso spent on eligible bookings.
