InteleTravel’s event management agency, MGME, a wholly owned subsidiary, has named former Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) CEO and president Cindy D’Aoust as its new vice president of business strategy.

In her new role, D’Aoust will be responsible for guiding the company’s long-term direction and identifying new, competitive ways to position MGME as a leader in the MICE space. She will also help identify market trends, expansion opportunities, and operational improvements.

Prior to her time at CLIA, D’Aoust served as chief operating officer at Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the leading association for event and meeting professionals.

“Having Cindy on the team was an obvious choice for us as we look to amplify our impact in the expanding global event market,” said Carvie Gilikin, CEO of MGME. “Our top goal will always be our clients and providing an exceptional customer experience. We are confident that Cindy’s appointment as our new vice president of business strategy will help to improve our present operations and bring additional value to our clients and ultimately, their attendees.”
