Effective Jan. 1, 2025, John Lovell will take over as president of Travel Leaders Network (TLN), adding to his current duties as president of Travel Leaders Group.

Lovell is taking over for Roger Block, who is stepping down from that role at the end of 2024 and transitioning to a senior management role.

Lovell already was responsible for oversight of almost every part of Travel Leaders’ business, but will now take “a more active role,” including being “heavily involved” in strategic operations, P&L performance, partner sales, and overall growth. He will also continue to have oversight of both Roadtrips, TLN’s sports travel package operator and Bonotel Exclusive Travel.

“This is an exciting time to be part of Travel Leaders Network,” Lovell said in the announcement. “Consumers are increasingly recognizing the benefits that come with using a skilled professional travel advisor to plan their trips. Travel advisors save time, get clients the best value for their money and provide peace of mind. They also open up a world of experiences for travelers that they might not find on their own.”
