Sabrina Greca Joins 5Continents in New Role

Montreal, Canada-based 5Continents has announced Sabrina Greca is joining the team as its first national director of business development.

Most recently, Greca was international senior corporate sales manager at Norweigan Cruise Line (NCL). The exec officially begins her new role April 15, and will report to 5Continents president and founder David Boigné.

5Continents is a B2B company that offers global travel services. Greca will be responsible for overseeing strategic growth of partnerships, as well as coordinating all sales and marketing activities for the company.

“In order to manage the company’s growth and continue our journey in this great industry, we have created the strategic position of national director of business development and marketing,” Boigné said in a release. “We define ourselves as a service company based on people more than technology, so who better to take this mission to the next level than Sabrina.”

After nearly 20 years working for the cruise industry at NCL (2012 to 2024) and Transat (2004 to 2011), the new position will be a transition for Greca.

“I’m well aware that people think they’ll have to dissociate me from the world of cruises, and that won’t be 100% the case, but I promise to put as much passion into 5Continents as I’ve put into cruises!” Greca said in a release. “I’m honoured by David’s confidence in me to help him grow this company, which is already so successful and whose values are already close to my heart.”

Over the last year, Greca has been stationed in England, and the new role marks a return to her home country. “Working abroad made me realise what’s most important to me: my children, of course, but also all the incredible connections I’d made in Canada — and yes, I did miss the travel agents.”
