Travel Insured’s New Tool Automates Insurance Quotes

by Marilee Crocker  July 04, 2017
Travel Insured’s New Tool Automates Insurance Quotes

Travel Insured International has introduced new technology that serves as a revenue-generating and productivity tool for travel agencies. Called Bulk Quote, the technology allows agents to send quotes to multiple clients simultaneously.

Currently available to agents who use Clientbase, Bulk Quote works through the insurer’s agency portal to search and find active reservations on Clientbase that do not include either third party or supplier travel protection insurance. Bulk Quote then automatically prepares a quote for each reservation and gives agency owners or managers an option to send out the quotes.

“With the touch of a button, you are able to send a customized quote to those clients,” instead of having to manually draw up quotes, Isaac Cymrot, vice president of industry relations, told agents at the Travel Leaders Network International Conference in Orlando this spring.

BulkQuote allows agencies to send customized quotes to as many as 200 clients at once.

“We’ve solved two of the biggest objections we hear from partners. First, we’ve given agency management the ability to make sure that 100% of your customers receive a quote. And second, we’ve saved the frontline agent a significant amount of time,” Cymrot said.

Creates training opportunities
So far feedback from agents has been positive, DeAnne Petritz, key accounts, national account manager, told Travel Market Report.

“Not only is Bulk Quote being used to increase conversion and revenue, but also as a tool that is helping our partners become more aware of internal training opportunities and creating an increased dialog around duty of care within their teams.”

Eventually the technology will be integrated with other CRMs as well.
