Century Cruises is expanding its portfolio to Egypt, introducing its first Nile River cruise itineraries for the 2027 season.

Century will debut in Egypt with two itineraries. The 11-day Treasures of the Nile will explore the country’s most iconic landmarks, traveling from Cairo to Luxor. The 15-day Legends of the Egypt includes the same Nile cruise experience, but adds on a four-day extension in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada, where activities such as diving, camel riding, and desert adventures are available.

“Our guests have been asking us for years if we’d ever bring the Century experience to the Nile,” said David Fredericks, president and general manager of Century Cruises. “We took that feedback seriously. We took that feedback seriously. Egypt is one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations and we wanted to create an experience that reflects everything Century Cruises stands for – beautiful ships, exceptional service, authentic experiences, and outstanding value.”

Cruise packages include roundtrip airfare from the U.S., private transfers, three nights in Cairo, seven nights onboard the MS Terramar, guided sightseeing, all shipboard dining, complimentary wine and beer during lunch and dinner, and a selection of included Signature shore excursions.

The extended 15-day itinerary also includes transfers to Hurghada, a three-night resort stay, daily excursions, meals, and transportation back to Cairo.

Enhanced extra-fee Heritage Collection shore excursions are also available on both itineraries.

The MS Terramar holds 20 cabins, each with a private balcony. Cabin sizes range from 323 square feet to 463 square feet. Ship amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center and spa, and more.

“This is just the beginning, and we look forward to growing our presence on the Nile with additional departures and new vessels in the years ahead,” Fredericks said.

Century’s expansion to Egypt marks the company’s latest move following more than 30 years of operating luxury river cruises on China’s Yangtze River and its recent expansion into Europe.
