Scenic Group has announced the expansion of its 2027 portfolio with five new itineraries in India and Sri Lanka.
Starting in October 2027, Scenic Aura will be deployed on the Hooghly River in India for an exclusive collection of itineraries showcasing the wonders of India and Sri Lanka.
The new program combines river cruise and land journeys. Travelers will explore North India, South India, Rajasthan, and Sri Lanka, anchored by a nine-night Lower Ganges river cruise along the Hooghly River on Scenic Aura. Designed as all-inclusive ultra-luxury, the itineraries feature Scenic Freechoice excursions and exclusive Scenic Enrich events.
According to Scenic, the 44-guest Scenic Aura will be redesigned by Scenic Group’s expert team at MKM Yachts for “an intimate boutique ship experience.” Further details on this refurbishment will be released at a later date.
The launch is part of a broader expansion of Scenic Group’s Asia portfolio. The company said additional developments planned for 2028 include the debut of Scenic Spirit II on the Mekong River, the return of Scenic Eclipse II to Asia and Oceania, and the arrival of Emerald Xara in Asia.
“The introduction of Scenic Aura on India’s Hooghly River is a significant milestone for Scenic Group with the collection developed entirely around what our guests are asking for,” said Adam Burke, Scenic Journey Designer. “These itineraries have been thoughtfully designed to provide unique and exclusive experiences that are culturally rich and showcase the best of India and Sri Lanka, all delivered with the depth of inclusions and personalized service Scenic is known for.”
