Charter Solutions Adds Risk Intelligence to Traveler Tracking

by Michèle McDonald  February 25, 2013

Charter Solutions, a Georgia-based company that offers proprietary solutions that handle real-time traveler tracking, partnered with Riskline ApS to provide risk intelligence integration to MCM, its existing traveler disruption management and mobile technology platform.

The platform offers instant communications in travel disruptions or crisis situations.

Amadeus is reselling, implementing and supporting the MCM Platform under the name of Amadeus Mobile Messenger.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Riskline provides advice and analysis required to manage threats to personal security in more than 200 countries and administrative regions worldwide. Its regionally based research analysts provide 24/7 intelligence.

Travel risk reporting is complemented by real-time mobile RSS and SMS alerts that provide travelers and security managers with information for planning secure routes and itineraries from the pre-departure stage through a safe return.

Travel security processes are streamlined during a crisis with targeted communication and color-coded monitoring of traveler responses that can be dynamically represented on a country risk map.

TRX develops productivity tool for Sabre Red Workspace
TRX Inc. developed an extension of its Queue Manager product, a workflow management tool that helps multi-location and/or multi-account travel agencies increase productivity, for the Sabre Red Workspace.

Queue Manager tracks agent productivity and identifies gaps in operational processes. It sweeps GDS queues and serves PNR records to agents through a web-based interface.

QM Xpress is designed to enable agents to quickly retrieve tasks and process PNRs directly from the Sabre Red Workspace, eliminating the need to toggle back and forth between the GDS and the QM tool.

It tracks activity on each record, capturing agent performance and productivity levels, and it automates some of the common GDS commands agents manually issue, helping agencies meet service level agreements and key performance indicator targets.

QM Xpress is expected to be available in the Sabre Red App Centre by the end of the first quarter.

Amadeus Adds Dolphin Dynamics’ Booking Management Module
Amadeus signed a deal to include Dolphin Dynamics’ tools in its mid- and back-office offering for agents in Australia and New Zealand. The tool set also includes Travelog, Tramada, VTO and Amadeus Agency Manager.

Dolphin Dynamics is a 19-year-old travel agency technology company based in London. It serves agents in 25 countries.

Amadeus will offer pre-sales, training and support for Dolphin Dynamics’ Booking Management Module. The scalable, web-based system interfaces with Amadeus e-Travel Management, e-Power and the Amadeus Selling Platform, its front-office solution.

Dolphin provides a user-friendly interface for fulfillment, pricing, customer relationship management, workflow and reporting. The Dolphin Inbox, a rules-based task management solution, aims to improve efficiency.
