G Adventure to Host Online Event Discussing the Future of the Travel Industry

The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on the travel industry over the last few months, but as states and countries begin reopening borders, and people starting to feel comfortable making travel plans again, the impact of outbreak seems to be winding down.

In order to help prepare advisors for the new realities of post-COVID travel, G Adventure will be holding an exclusive webinar for travel advisors on Thursday, June 4th.

The event will be hosted by Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures, and he will provide updates on new initiatives from G Adventures, field questions submitted by advisors, and discuss what will be in store for the future of the industry.

Tip will also be discussing his recently released a book, titled; Unlearn: The Year the Earth Stood Still, detailing how this crisis unfolded for him personally, and observes at the current state of the travel industry with regards to home-sharing, climate change, ‘flight-shaming’, overtourism, and the proliferation of mass-market holiday options.
