Host agency Oasis Travel Network has launched a new training program designed for travel advisors who are new to the industry.

OTN Academy is a New to Travel Program designed specifically to help brand-new travel advisors learn the trade. The self-paced guided program covers the basics of establishing a strong foundaiton for a new travel business, and combines education, supplier access, and ongoing mentorship.

The OTN Academy program takes approximately 60 to 70 hours to complete and is paired with membership to the professional travel industry associations ASTA (including Travel Fundamentals for Advisors) and CLIA, as well as a Certified Cruise Counselor (CCC) membership.

After joining up, the onboarding process typically takes three to five days. New travel advisors can start booking travel right away as they work through the program.
