Colorado-based host agency Legato is partnering with travel technology company Tern to bring its CRM program to Legato members. With the deal, Legato becomes Tern’s first official host partner.
Legato will give all of its advisors introductory access to Tern and Tern’s pre-built tech stack. Tern will also be able to integrate directly with MontisPro, Legato’s business management system. Jonathan Morris, Owner/President at Legato, said that the goal with the partnership was to eliminate “invisible work” and empower advisors to focus on “what matters the most.”
“From day one, the Legato team has been incredible to work with. They truly champion their advisors,” said David Shull, CEO of Tern. “They were the first large agency to extend discounted access to Tern, and that forward-thinking spirit shows up in everything they do. We’re thrilled to help their advisors experience how Tern’s technology can simplify their operations and free up time to focus on what they do best: serving clients.”
It’s been a busy year for Tern—the technology company acquired Lucia, a contractor marketplace specializing in travel industry freelancers, in June. As part of the agreement, Lucia founder Grace Van Hollebeke joined Tern as head of marketing and user experience.
Tern also announced a deal with Travel Planners International (TPI) that included TPI and Tern jointly investing in a “buy down” initiative to reduce the cost of onboarding and support services for TPI members.
