Travel Improves Opportunities for College Students, Study Says

by Jessica Montevago  March 29, 2018

Travel can have such a positive impact, 63 percent of travelers indicated it improved their education and employment opportunities, according to a new study commissioned by Contiki.

“At Contiki, we wholly believe traveling is one of the best forms of education and new research we commissioned, advised by leading social psychologist Adam Ganlinsky, PhD, Columbia Business School proves how traveling benefits gen Y and Z’ers from their education, careers and beyond,” said Adam Cooper, president of Contiki.

To encourage college students to travel, the tour operator is offering a new $75 student discount is combinable with many other offers and available on all Contiki trips seven or more days. It’s currently live on Contiki’s travel agent site.

In addition, from April 2-6, all Wheel of Fortune contestants will be current college students, with the opportunity to win trips for two on Contiki’s Greek Sailing, Italian Espresso, Egypt and the Nile, Western Rocker, and Andes and Amazon Highlights expeditions.
