Porter on Thursday officially launched its newest service, roundtrip flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Porter is now flying the route roundtrip daily between the two cities on its 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which features a two-by-two configuration (no middle seats).

Just like all of Porter’s flights, passengers on the new route will have access to free Wi-Fi.

“San Francisco is a major hub for travelers…Adding San Francisco to our network is the latest step in our growth across North America, which is continuing throughout 2024,” Porter president Kevin Jackson said.

The San Francisco service follows other additions Porter has made recently as the Canadian carrier continues to grow its route network. Porter is also now flying daily service from Toronto to another California hub, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The airline is also full steam ahead with its Alaska Airlines partnership, which allows advisors to sell combined itineraries, giving Porter guests access to Alaska Airlines cities that it doesn’t currently serve.
