American Airlines is adding another grab-and-go lounge, called Provisions by Admirals Club, to its Admirals Club portfolio, this time in New York.
American will open the lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport by the end of the year, the first of its kind for the airport. American already operates a grab-and-go location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina, which opened in August 2025. United Airlines was the first major U.S. carrier to debut the concept, doing so in Denver in 2022.
The lounges are smaller than traditional Admirals Club locations. The JFK location will span 3,700 square feet — compared to JFK’s traditional 11,300-square-foot Admirals Club — and will primarily offer a space where travelers can quickly pick up snacks and drinks. The JFK lounge will also feature a barista bar with hot and iced coffee drinks.
The new grab-and-go location will technically be American’s fifth lounge at JFK Terminal 8, joining that standard traditional Admirals Club in Concourse C and the 27,000-square-foot premium lounge (which replaced the old Flagship Lounge) in Concourse B.
The rules for the new grab-and-go lounges will be the same as the Admirals Clubs. Entry will be granted to Admirals Club members, qualifying elite frequent flyers, and premium-cabin passengers traveling on same-day flights.
