Four Seasons to Build New Luxury Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida
by Briana Bonfiglio /Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have announced plans to create a new luxury hotel and private residences in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
The company is partnering with Shahid Khan, owner of NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, through Iguana Investments to build the brand-new, 170-room property, which is expected to open in 2026. Khan also owns the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.

The waterfront hotel will be located on the banks of the St. John’s River at the heart of Jacksonville Shipyards, next to the Sports Complex and site of the proposed new home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Stadium of the Future, providing easy access to sports games and other entertainment for football fans and others who come to visit.
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville will have 170 rooms and suites, 26 private residences, and four dining and lounge areas, including a signature rooftop restaurant and bar, an all-day restaurant, a pool bar and grill, and a lobby bar for locals and travelers alike.
The hotel will also offer a spa, multiple outdoor pools with cabana service, a gym, a meeting and event space, and the Kids for All Seasons program, which offers youth activities for children.
Four Seasons has several other properties in Florida, including its hotels in Orlando, Palm Beach, Surfside, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, as well as an upcoming resort in Naples.
