Atlantis Paradise Island has undergone a $150 million renovation, transforming its casino, guestrooms, restaurants, and lounges.

The iconic Bahamas resort’s redesign extends to The Royal at Atlantis hotel and the Atlantis Casino, with major additions to dining options – notably Paranza by Michelin-starred chef Michael White.

“Atlantis continuously elevates the guest experience, and recent developments at The Royal, Paranza, and the Atlantis Casino provide guests with upgraded, modern touches while retaining the resort’s integral identity that visitors know and love,” said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis. “The new designs throughout Atlantis demonstrate our commitment to providing an unsurpassed vacation experience.”

The Royal

A top-to-bottom makeover of The Royal has been completed. The hotel’s 1,201 rooms are all refreshed with a calming design that reflects the coastal setting: cool blues, whites, and beechwood to reflect the ocean and sand, plus sculptures inspired by the Bahamas archipelago. The hotel’s 120 suites have also been transformed with deep teal and sage green colors. This includes the 10 Grand Suites, four Presidential Suites, and three Royal Suites.

Atlantis Casino

The resort’s standout 85-table, 700-game casino now also has a brand-new look. Structures have been removed from the ceiling to make the area feel more spacious and to better display the glass lighting installations, which have been re-lit. The casino also has a completely new, custom-made carpet with 25 sophisticated shades, and all its murals have been restored.

Resort dining

Paranza, located in the luxury suite building The Cove, is the biggest new dining option at Atlantis. In the casino, cocktail bar Bar Sol and restaurant Silan are the newest additions. Each of these three food and beverage venues are located in completely freshly designed spaces. The resort now also features the Caribbean’s first Shake Shack and new restaurant FIELDTRIP.
