Seabourn Drops COVID-19 Testing and Vaccination Requirements for Most Sailings

Effective immediately, Seabourn will no longer require guests on “Standard Protocols” voyages to test for COVID-19 prior to sailing or provide proof of vaccination.

The move doesn’t drop the requirements from all of Seabourn sailings, select itineraries to certain regions or countries with rules in place will still mandate it, but it does for most of the cruise line’s itineraries. Guests can check requirements using Seabourn’s Health Protocols Tool here.

“Since we restarted service more than a year ago, we’ve demonstrated that we can operate and travel safely, and we’re happy to update our health protocols to make it easier and more comfortable for our guests to travel and explore the world as they sail with us,” said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn.

“We look forward to welcoming our guests on board our ultra-luxury ships and delivering special and unforgettable ‘Seabourn Moments’.”

The move is the same as the one that Seabourn’s sister brand Holland America made late last week, also dropping its testing and vaccination requirements for all Standard Protocols sailings.
