M Social Hotel Times Square, a lifestyle hotel that last earned headlines with a curling rink on its rooftop, announced this week that it had partnered with Martha Stewart to offer CBD-friendly products on its room service menu.
The menu, which is offered 24 hours to M Social guests, now features items such as CBD gummies (10 count for $12.99), CBD oil (15 ml for $16.99), and CBD soft gels (10 count for $16.99), all branded from the Martha Stewart brand.
CBD entering into the hospitality space isn’t anything new. Kimpton’s Food and Beverage Report from 2021 included a nod to CBD in drinks being “here to stay.” Other hotels have also incorporated CBD products into their offerings like The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, which offers an 80-minute treatment that includes a CBD-infused bath in its spa, and The Standard Miami Beach, which was offering CBD-infused gummies in its mini-bar.
Overall, M Social Hotel Times Square offers 480 rooms within walking distance of some of New York’s most popular attractions including the Theater District, Central Park, and Fifth Avenue.
The M Social brand comes from the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) company that was founded in 1989 by the leaders of the Singapore real estate company City Developments. Aside from the M Social brand, the company also operates Millennium hotels, including three in New York and others spread across the U.S., along with some other properties such as The Bostonian and The Lakefront Anchorage.
