The Association of Canadian Travel Advisors (ACTA) announced today the launch of its new quarterly leadership panels, which will offer professional development sessions focusing on different segments of the travel industry.

The inaugural leadership panel will be held virtually on April 26 at 1 pm EST.

The first panel will feature leaders from the cruise industry. Panelists will delve into the diverse segments within the cruise industry, offering insight into the unique aspects and emerging trends for each.

ACTA’s initiative is designed to provide travel professionals with a platform where experts can facilitate discussions and share their knowledge. Future panels will cover topics related to the air, accommodation, and travel health insurance segments of the travel industry.

The inaugural leadership panel includes the following cruise experts: Pam Hoffee, president, Avalon River Cruises; John Diorio, vice-president North American sales, Virgin Voyages; David Tanguay, head of global sales, Aurora Expeditions; Kristin Erz, director of expedition sales, Silversea; and, Patricia Di Benedetto, business development, Canada, Explora Journeys.
