Princess Cruises has opened its 2024 Japan cruising season for bookings. Highlights include 36 departures onboard Diamond Princess, as well as the Japan debut for Royal Princess.

“Japan has been a popular homeport and destination experience for Princess guests for many years and we’re thrilled to offer such a culturally-rich season of cruises in this region for the 2024 season,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises.

Diamond Princess, the line’s Asia-specific ship, will return to Japan for a 36-departure March through August 2024 season, sailing roundtrip from Yokohama (Tokyo), calling to 35 destinations in three countries on 31 unique itineraries. The season kicks off with a series of 10-day Spring Flowers voyages, calling at all four of Japan’s main islands. Subsequent sailings will range from seven to 23 days.

New for 2024, Royal Princess will sail a Japan & North Pacific Crossing, calling to the northern Tohoku and Hokkaido regions during cherry blossom season. Guests can opt to disembark in Whittier for a 15-day voyage or continue to Vancouver, British Columbia for a 22-day cruise. The sailing departs Yokoham on April 27, 2024.
