All ALG Vacations Brands Are Now Paying Commission on Hotels in Europe
by Daniel McCarthy /ALG Vacations, which includes Apple Vacations, Funjet, Travel Impression, and United Vacations, is adding several policy enhancements as part of the launch of its Europe’s Cities and Seas sale.
One of the highlights of the announcement is that Apple Vacations, Funjet, and United Vacations will now pay full earned commission on all hotels in Europe, matching the policy already in place at Travel Impressions.
At the same time, ALG Vacations is lowering deposits for United Vacations Europe bookings to $250 (down from $350) and to $350 (instead of the full air cost) for the three other brands. It is also including its Price Guarantee on its Travel Protection Plus policy for Europe, which means that if the price of the hotel drops after the booking is confirmed, the reservation will be adjusted to the lower price upon request.
“2023 promises to be a banner travel year, and we want advisors to look to ALG Vacations when booking Europe. With an extensive portfolio of properties in classic and exotic destinations, competitive pricing, lenient policies, and lucrative commissions for advisors, ALG Vacations is a company committed to the Europe market” said Jacki Marks, Executive Vice President, Trade Brands.
“Our brands offer the complete package for European travelers, including rental cars with Hertz and Enterprise, private transfers, and exciting excursions, and are excited to bring even more in 2024” she added.
The enhancements come as ALG Vacations launch its Europe’s Cities and Seas sale, which runs through Jan. 19 for travel through Dec. 15. The sale offers significant savings (up to 40%) on hotels throughout ALG Vacations’ Europe portfolio, along with 15% air commission on United flights with packaged vacations. In addition, United Vacations clients get up to $200 in promo code savings on bookings that include roundtrip air.
Advisors can also earn WAVES points for each Europe booking.
