The new Brightline Orlando train station.

Intercity rail provider Brightline unveiled its highly anticipated Orlando Station at the Orlando International Airport (MCO). Ticket sales for the service, which starts this summer, open next month.

The Brightline station is located inside Orlando International Airport's new 80,000-square-foot Train Station facility adjacent to Terminal C. The MCO station connects directly to the airport's parking garage C, which will have more than 350 parking spaces branded for Brightline guests. The station also provides direct access to the other airport terminals A and B via the airport Terminal Link in under five minutes.

Inside the Brightline Orlando station, guests will find a bar serving hand-crafted cocktails and light bites; a market place for last-minute gifts, sundries and refreshments; a BrightKids children's play area; and high-speed Wi-Fi, along with charging stations at every seat.

Service from the station begins this summer and will include 16 daily round trip departures between Miami and Orlando. The non-stop run time between stations takes two hours and 59 minutes. Regular service, which includes stops at West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura, has a run time of three hours and 30 minutes.

One way fares for the service start at $79 for Smart fares and $149 for Premium fares. Travel advisors who sign up with Brightline receive a special discount code that they can either pass on to clients or use to purchase tickets directly at a discount, while charging clients the full price.
