New York City is undoubtedly one of the top global tourist destinations in the world, known for its history, entertainment, and culinary scene. New York City expects to welcome over 63 million visitors in 2023.

The five boroughs have hotel options for even the most discerning of travelers. In search of a room with stunning views of Central Park or a suite with terrace views of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge? There's a hotel out there that will deliver. But be aware that many hotels add a daily resort fee to the hotel bill to cover Wi-Fi and other amenities.

Although many of the activities in New York City can be costly, the city also has a variety of free alternatives, including incredible photo ops. Below are some of the places that you can recommend to your clients that offer the best views of the city:

1 Hotel, Brooklyn Bridge (Brooklyn)
Across the Hudson River from Manhattan lies 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. It's an elegant property paying homage to nature and the architecture of its neighbor, the Brooklyn Bridge. Sustainability and respect for the environment inform the design, which uses reclaimed wood, stone, marble, and locally sourced glass. Just a 4-minute walk from the hotel is one of the Instagrammable sites in New York – the iconic DUMBO Manhattan Bridge View. Despite the busyness of Brooklyn, the hotel's vibe is low-key, laid-back, and serene.

Most rooms offer panoramic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the East River, and the New York City skyline. There are 194 guest rooms to choose from, plus 29 suites with a choice of two- to six-bedroom offerings. The Presidential Suite is aptly named The Riverhouse. All rooms feature King beds dressed in organic linens atop memory foam mattresses. Standard features include Smart TVs, I-pads for service communications, and Nespresso coffee machines.

For dining, The Osprey on the ground floor is an excellent choice for those seeking quality, farm-to-table cuisine with global influences from New York's diverse neighborhoods. Harriet's Lounge on the 10th floor is an oasis with breathtaking panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. This classic cocktail lounge uses fresh, seasonal ingredients to create elevated bites.

Harriet's Rooftop is the place to visit during the summer, set against the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge backdrop. Neighbors Café, located in the lobby, is a gathering spot for locals and hotel guests. Offering excellent coffee, fresh pressed juice, and seasonal salads. Neighbors have plenty of options for all-day snacking.

Notable amenities include a State-of-the-art gym (personal trainers available); An Audi house car for guest use;  A rooftop pool was adjoining Harriet's Rooftop bar; and the holistic Bamford Wellness Spa.
