Cruise Planners Names Theresa Scalzitti COO, Scott Koepf Chief Strategy Officer

Cruise Planners this week made three major changes to its executive team.
Theresa Scaliztti, the former chief sales officer at Cruise Planners and 28-year veteran of the travel industry, will now serve as the company’s chief operations officer, responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, Business Development, Groups, CPV, Franchise Marketing, PR and Corporate Relations, Business Intelligence, Creative Programs, Special Programs and CARE team for Cruise Planners.
Scott Koepf, the former senior vice president of strategic development, will now serve as Cruise Planners’ chief strategy officer. Koepf, who has almost four decades of experience in the industry, is a CLIA Hall of Fame recipient. He will continue to oversee the departments of Franchise Sales, Training, and Events.
At the same time, Cruise Planners announced it was welcoming Jeffrey Sherota as vice president of operations. Sherota, who spent the past 15 years with World Travel Holdings, will be responsible for oversight of Cruise Planners CARE Team, Franchise Marketing, and Special Programs and will report directly to Scalzitti.
