Travelport users can now access all Air Canada content.

Air Canada is keeping its Ottawa-London Heathrow non-stop flights for Winter 2025-26 with what the Ottawa Airport Authority says is win for travellers, businesses, and their entire community.

The announcement means Air Canada is the only airline linking Canada’s capital non-stop to Europe with connections at Heathrow to Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa.

“Air Canada continues to solidify its leadership serving our country’s capital and we are excited to keep Ottawa connected to one of the world’s most important global gateways all year long,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, and President of Cargo, at Air Canada.

“Customers travelling for business, corporate and leisure from the National Capital Region and abroad will enjoy the ease and convenience of international travel options to and from Ottawa. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard our London flights this winter and beyond.”

Flights will ramp up to four times weekly for Summer 2026 beginning March 28, 2026.

With this news, Air Canada will operate over 450 weekly flights to and from Ottawa. The airline most recently announced new transborder flights and increased capacity for Summer 2026 with new San Antonio to Toronto and new Cleveland and Columbus to Montreal routes. Air Canada is set to boost its transborder capacity by 15 per cent in Summer 2026 compared to its Summer 2025 schedule.
