Air Transat Makes Changes to Option Plus Starting November 1

Option Plus Transat
Air Transat has made changes to its Option Plus package beginning November 1. The amenity kit, earplugs, snack, and alcoholic beverage previously included in the Option Plus fare will no longer be offered.
Option Plus will still include one checked bag (up to 23 kg), standard seat selection, and priority services at check-in, security, boarding, and baggage handling.
The changes will take effect November 1, though reservations made before October 31st for departures through April 30, 2026, are not affected.
Reservations made before November 1st will honour the previous inclusions, unless the departure is after April 30th. If a reservation was made, for example, on October 21 for a May 15th departure, a $25 credit for a one-way or $40 credit for a roundtrip will be issued.
Air Transat says the change is “part of an operational adjustment aimed at optimizing onboard efficiency while preserving the key benefits that make Option Plus valuable.”
Passengers will be notified by email starting November 3.
