JetBlue is expanding its international route map with two new roundtrip flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Europe.
The first is a new daily nonstop seasonal service between Boston and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) in Madrid. The second is a daily nonstop seasonal service between Boston and Edinburgh Airport (EDI) in Scotland. Both routes will launch on May 22, 2025.
The flights will operate on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 aircraft, which features its Mint service with fully lie-flat private suites, along with Core and Mint options. The airline had teased the additions last week during its announcement that it would be cutting some flights to London and Miami.
With the additions, JetBlue will offer seasonal service from Boston to Amsterdam Schiphol, Dublin International, and London Gatwick, as well as year-round service to London Heathrow and Paris. It’s a substantial schedule for an airline that only entered the European market three years ago.
JetBlue also operates a robust schedule to Europe from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), with seasonal service to Dublin and Edinburgh and year-round service to Amsterdam, London Heathrow, and Paris.
“Madrid and Edinburgh represent two of Europe’s most exciting and popular destinations, and we’re happy to offer even more transatlantic travel options for our customers from Boston and New England,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning. “Europe continues to be part of our network strategy, as our loyal customers look for JetBlue’s signature service and low fares to bring them to top leisure destinations, including across the Atlantic.”
