Turkish Airlines saw passenger capacity grow by 9.2 percent in December 2025 as the airline released its passenger results for the full calendar year. For the full year, Turkish Airlines carried 92.6 million passengers, an 8.8 per cent increase over 2024.

The carrier transported 7.3 million passengers during the month, hitting a total load factor of 82.6 per cent. International services recorded a load factor of 82.6 per cent, while domestic flights achieved 82.7 per cent. International-to-international transfer traffic continued to show strong momentum, rising 14.1 per cent to 3.2 million passengers, compared with 2.8 million in December 2024.

International-to-international passenger traffic grew by 12.8 per cent, reaching 35.7 million passengers, up from 31.7 million the previous year, reinforcing the airline’s role as a leading global hub carrier.

The airline recorded a total load factor of 83.2 per cent for the year, with international load factor at 82.9 per cent and domestic load factor at 86 per cent.

As of the end of December 2025, Turkish Airlines operated a fleet of 516 aircraft. In the fall, the airline announced a firm order for up to 75 787 Dreamliners, the flag carrier’s largest ever Boeing widebody purchase. The fast-growing airline also announced its intent to purchase up to 150 more 737 MAX airplanes, which will be its largest Boeing single-aisle order when finalized.  In November, the airline began its codeshare with Transat.
