AmaWaterways to Include Free Pre- or Post-Cruise Land Tours

Through March 31, AmaWaterways is offering cruisers a free pre- or post-cruise land package on select Europe river cruises in 2024 and 2025. Varying by itinerary, options range from two to four nights, and include a stay at a four- or five-star hotel in the heart of the city.

“Travelers are seeking more authentic, immersive experiences,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways. “We are thrilled to start the year off with this complimentary land package offer that is designed to further enhance their experiences with extra time to recover from jetlag or explore a new city.”

In addition to the hotel stay, pre- and post-cruise packages include daily breakfast, city tours and excursions, transfers and luggage service, and the assistance of an AmaWaterways Cruise Manager.

More than 20 pre- and post-cruise land packages are available including a three-night post cruise package in Nice and Monaco on select Essence of Burgundy & Provence sailings, a three-night pre- or post-cruise package in Lake Como on select Rhine Castles & Swiss Alps sailings, a two-night Bilbao and two-night San Sebastian pre-cruise package on select Taste of Bordeaux sailings, and a three-night pre- or post-cruise stay in Prague on select Melodies of the Danube sailings.

Guests who do not want to book a complimentary land package can instead opt for up to $2,000 off per stateroom on select dates.
