Travel Market Report Releases the First-of-its-Kind Outlook on River Cruises

River cruises, once a niche segment of travel, are now mainstream, according to a survey of more than 850 travel advisors.
Travel Market Report’s new “2019 Outlook on River Cruises” found that 94% of travel advisors sold river cruises in the past 12 months, and more than that (99%) expect to sell them over the next year.
The report, released today on the Travel Market Report homepage, also showed that river cruises are not only highly profitable for advisors, but they are also ideal for groups. Clients who experience the segment for the first time, virtually without exception, come back happy and become pied pipers for future referrals.

Travel Market Report is readying two more of its Outlooks to be released before the end of 2019 to help advisors boost their business in the New Year: the “2019 Outlook on Ocean Cruises” is scheduled for release on Dec. 3 and the “2019 Outlook on Sustainable and Meaningful Travel” will be released on Dec. 12.
