Nicole Bursey has been named President of Flair Vacations.
Flair Airlines has announced the appointment of Nicole Bursey as President of Flair Vacations. The company calls the hire “a significant step in the expansion of Flair’s vacation business and its long-term vision for growth in the leisure travel space.”
A respected travel industry leader, Bursey brings more than 30 years of experience across vacation retail, distribution, commercial strategy, sales leadership, and partner development. In addition to her leadership roles, she has dedicated time to industry advocacy and governance through service with the Canadian Association of Tour Operators (CATO) and as a Board Director for the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).
She joins Flair following recent senior leadership roles with Project Expedition and Transat Tours Canada.

“Nicole brings exceptional depth of experience and credibility across the travel industry,” said Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines. “She understands this business deeply, from commercial strategy to the relationships and experiences that build trust with travellers. Bringing someone of Nicole’s calibre into the organization reflects both the momentum behind Flair Vacations and the future we’re building.”
“I’m super-excited,” said Bursey, reached in Las Vegas by Travel Market Report Canada. “It’s a big role, but I think there’s a real opportunity for development in the Canadian market.”
“It has been interesting to watch Flair grow. They’ve had enough of a history to learn what works and what doesn’t. They’re delivering a product Canadians want. And bringing Len Corrado in as CEO, along with a strong team, there’s a lot of passion there, and that’s a big part of success,” Bursey added.
The long-time Transat executive says she is excited to build a team from the ground up at Flair Vacations.
“I want to build a structure people are proud of, one that is collaborative and has a positive impact on partners, travellers, the internal team and the airline.”
Bursey says that while there’s a big focus on ultra-luxury in the travel industry, there’s a real need for regular families and everyday people to find vacations within their budget. Recent major changes in the Canadian marketplace, related to both destinations and operators, reinforce the need for options and innovations.
“Travel is about experiences that stay with people for years to come, and there’s a tremendous opportunity to build vacation experiences that are connected to what travellers value most today. Flair has built strong momentum, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the next chapter of Flair Vacations alongside a passionate team and valued industry partners who will play an important role in our development,” Bursey said.
In a press release, Flair said Bursey will lead the next phase of growth for the business as the company “continues expanding its vacation offerings, strengthening industry partnerships, and creating more seamless travel experiences for Canadians.”
“Travel is personal, and the best vacation experiences are built around what matters the most to people,” Corrado added. “Nicole brings a strong understanding of both the commercial side of the business and the traveller experience itself.”
