“The medical situation was resolved on the flight and everyone left OK,” she added.
“Good for you @AirCanada!” she ended the post, which garnered over two million views.
Air Canada responded to her on X, writing: “Thank you Katy, we will make sure to send your kind words to the team onboard. We are sure they will be more than happy to see this.”

“Air crew are always in the news for the wrong reasons,” wrote on person. “Glad to see that the air crew did amazingly well.”
Some complained that Air Canada only responded to Perry because she is a celebrity. “I bet they wouldn’t even acknowledge a complaint from a regular Joe Schmoe.” (From experience, this is not always the case.
And of course there were others who couldn’t resist taking a shot at Perry, not believing she would fly commercial.
“You honestly expect us to believe you took a regular flight with the peasants?” one X respondent wrote.
