Porter, Air Creebec Partner to Expand Connections Across Canada

Porter Airlines and Air Creebec have announced a new partnership that will make it easier for travellers to reach communities across Quebec and Northern Ontario, while opening up additional connections throughout Canada.

The agreement combines Porter’s expanding domestic network with Air Creebec’s regional service, allowing passengers to book flights on both airlines under a single itinerary.

Connections are available through Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) and Timmins Victor M. Power Airport (YTS), linking Air Creebec’s regional destinations with Porter’s broader Canadian network.

For travellers departing from Western Canada, the partnership provides year-round connections through Montreal to destinations such as Saguenay, Chibougamau and Val-d’Or, Quebec.

In Northern Ontario, passengers can connect through Timmins to communities including Attawapiskat and Moosonee, part of Air Creebec’s network of 16 destinations across Quebec and Ontario.

Timmins also connects with Porter’s service to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, providing additional opportunities for onward travel across Canada.

“Porter’s new partnership with Air Creebec means more choices for passengers across Canada who travel through Quebec and Northern Ontario,” said Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Porter, in a press release.

“This partnership provides opportunities for travellers to connect seamlessly across the country.”

Connecting Northern Communities

For Air Creebec, the agreement represents another step in improving air access for the remote and regional communities it has served for more than four decades.

“Air Creebec was built by the Cree Nation to connect the communities we serve with the rest of the country,” added Tanya Pash, president and chief executive officer, Air Creebec.

“This partnership with Porter widens that door for every region on our network, from the James Bay coast to Abitibi and Saguenay. That access is what we have been working toward for more than 40 years.”

The partnership also creates additional booking opportunities for travel advisors arranging itineraries involving smaller communities that may require connections through major Canadian airports.

Combined Porter-Air Creebec itineraries are now available for booking, with travel beginning Oct. 21, 2026.
