WestJet Expands KLM Codeshare, Adds Bucharest & Vienna for 2027
by Michael Pihach
WestJet has expanded its KLM codeshare.
WestJet is expanding its codeshare partnership with KLM in 2027, adding more European destinations to the agreement.
According to an Oct. 6 update from aviation schedule website AeroRoutes, WestJet will place its code on KLM-operated flights from Amsterdam to Bucharest, Romania, and Vienna, Austria.
The additional codeshare routes are scheduled to take effect April 30, 2027.
The expansion will give WestJet passengers additional connecting options through KLM’s Amsterdam Schiphol Airport hub, extending the Canadian carrier’s reach into Europe.
WestJet and KLM already maintain a codeshare partnership designed to provide passengers with greater connectivity between Canada and destinations across KLM’s European network.
The latest additions further expand that relationship ahead of the 2027 summer season.
